When the world shut down, art opened up

March 2020. The world comes to a halt. We experience fear, uncertainty, loneliness.
In the middle of lockdown, many seek refuge in social networks; artists find a way to express what we are all feeling.

From that need, the Covid Art Museum was born: the first digital museum on Instagram, giving voice to thousands of works that turned isolation into a collective testimony.

A museum born viral. A museum still alive today.
